This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits, including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, and retirement plan options. The Litigation Docket Specialist will be responsible for monitoring assigned shared mailboxes and docketing requests in a timely manner using the firm's litigation docketing software. This position may be filled remotely or in any of our multiple locations across the United States. Responsibilities: - Independently docket for designated assignment group (multiple offices and/or practice groups), including review and comprehension of documents, verification of jurisdiction and deadlines, and accuracy of docketed items and timekeepers. - Create, review, and distribute accurate matter reports. - Research and apply statutory, agency, court, and individual judges' rules and practices. - Collaborate with the Litigation Docket Manager to improve docketing best practices and processes. - Assist with special projects as needed. - Stay current with developments, procedures, and rules in courts and agencies within designated assignment group. Qualifications: - 2-year degree or Paralegal Certificate; 4-year degree preferred in related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. - 3-5 years of litigation docketing experience, preferably with CompuLaw Vision. - Strong knowledge of California litigation and asbestos practice. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and internet research. - Attention to detail, analytical abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
