As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play an integral role in the litigation process by working closely with attorneys to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management.

H2: Responsibilities

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

- Conducting pre-claim investigations and legal research
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents
- Performing administrative duties such as calendar management and file organization
- Assisting with federal and state administrative filings
- Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Preparing for trial and arbitration, including managing trial exhibits and other assistance
- Aiding attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gathering relevant information from various sources
- Liaising between trial teams and third parties
- Assisting with voir-dire, jury selection, and witness preparation
- Helping with case settlements
- Addressing client inquiries and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in Personal Injury law
- Experience working with federal and state court litigation cases from onset to trial phase
- Familiarity with federal and state procedures and court rules
- Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, and legal technology
- Proficiency in MS Office and case management software
- Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent time-management and typing skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor and compliance with company dress code
