H1: Lateral File Intake/Transfer Manager at Law Firm - Atlanta, GA, Charleston, SC, Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, Greensboro, NC, Greenville, SC, Raleigh, NC, RTP, NC, Winston-Salem, NC H2: Join Our Team as a Lateral File Intake/Transfer Manager Law Firm Seeking Skilled Lateral File Intake/Transfer Manager Exempt Salary Type, Administration Department 01-Apr-2024 Publication Date Responsibilities: - Manage the process of file intakes and transfers from start to finish. - Work with multiple teams to facilitate intake and transfer of files. - Ensure all conflicts have been cleared and all new matters have been opened. - Collaborate with GC's office, LPA, and local office Director of Administration. - Utilize Pending Portable Matters chart and properly organize information. - Coordinate with Billing team on client billing rates and project billing. - Receive, log, and track incoming files and docketing information. - Collaborate with IP Docketing team to manage workflow and deadlines. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incoming files. - Prepare reports and statistics related to file intake. - Create client matter number matrix for matching files from old firm to new firm. - Ensure files are transferred out of the firm in accordance with File Transfer Procedures. - Assist with drafting client transfer letters and tracking responses. - Work with IT personnel during transfer process to ensure all information is transferred accurately.
