The Ice Miller law firm is currently seeking a talented and experienced litigation associate to join their dynamic and growing bankruptcy practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in litigating bankruptcy, restructuring, and/or creditors' rights and insolvency-related matters in state and federal courts. They should also have a strong working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, local rules, UCC, and secured transactions. This position offers a mix of litigation and transactional work, and the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled and experienced attorneys.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Take depositions and argue motions and contested matters in the courtroom
- Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility
- Collaborate across practice groups and offices
- Work in a small office atmosphere with the resources of an Am Law 200 firm
- Have opportunities for advancement in a collegial environment
- Engage in business development activities with the potential to grow into partnership
- Be allowed to work remotely two days per week

Qualifications and Skills:

- 3-6 years of experience in motions practice, contested matters, and/or adversary proceedings
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to think quickly and pivot well in court and under pressure
- Experience in taking, or materially assisting in the preparation of, depositions
- Excel in a team environment
- Keen interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills
- Prior experiences working with diverse cultures and backgrounds preferred
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
