Key Responsibilities: • Serve as state lead in submission of group health insurance products at a regional site. • Develop and oversee the regulatory approval process for submission of health insurance products. • Collaborate with multiple functional business areas in drafting new product language and products. • Evaluate insurance, HMO, and self-funded benefit contracts and related processes and procedures. • Prepare and submit form filings and communicate with regulators. • Conduct legal compliance research or paralegal work. • File insurance products using SERFF and other methods. • Utilize PC proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred Skills and Experiences: • Understanding of health care funding arrangements, health insurance provider networks, group health benefits, state and federal regulations, group contract and certificate development, and compliance strongly preferred. • Legal compliance research or paralegal experience strongly preferred. • Experience filing insurance products using SERFF and other methods strongly preferred. • PC proficiency to include with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams and Adobe Acrobat strongly preferred. Minimum Requirements: • BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
