Position Summary: Woods Oviatt Gilman, LLP is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Patent Attorney or Patent Agent to join our Intellectual Property department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to assist in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in Chemistry or similar technical background
- Possess at least 4 years of experience in patent application drafting and prosecution
- Must be admitted to practice before the USPTO
- Ability to perform prior art searches and draft opinions on patentability and clearance
- Work closely with inventors, engineers, and other client stakeholders
- Provide support to internal teams on various intellectual property matters
- Superior writing skills and strong oral communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer-assisted legal resources
- Maintains high standards of performance
- Exhibits conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility
