Washington, . office of a **Members Only** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an OFAC attorney with 3+ years of experience with the OFAC and economic sanctions tasks. The candidate should have experience in drafting and submitting specific license applications and unblocking applications, representing clients in enforcement matters, providing compliance counseling to clients and developing compliance programs, and drafting and submitting voluntary self-disclosures (VSDs) on behalf of clients. Must have an interest in the national security and foreign policy implications of US economic sanctions. Should also have experience with or possess an understanding of export controls administered by BIS, FinCEN, and BSA/AML regulations, and white collar and federal criminal defense issues. Fluency in Farsi is a plus. Must be Barred and in good standing.
