We are seeking a Litigation Docketing Specialist to join our Technology, Information Security & Information Governance team. This role will involve working with a team of talented individuals to assist with all aspects of docket department duties and utilize our computerized docket system. The position is available in our Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington ., Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and downtown Indianapolis offices. Responsibilities: - Review, analyze, and process incoming notifications from courts, administrative agencies, clients, and counsel - Ensure accuracy of docketing information in CourtAlert software, including analyzing updated docket records and assessing deadlines - Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly docket reports - Respond to inquiries from attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants regarding matter calendars and court procedures - Conduct orientation and training for new staff - Other duties and projects as assigned Requirements: - Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate, or at least 4 years of law firm docketing experience in lieu of a degree - Extensive knowledge and experience with industry-standard docketing software - Minimum of two years of docketing experience at a law firm - Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local rules - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of California State and Local rules Skills and Qualifications: - Strong problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate in a virtual environment - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Initiative to take on tasks and seek guidance when needed - Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments - Ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients - Discretion when handling confidential information - Stamina and ability to maintain regular attendance - Willingness to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate attention to detail What We Offer: - Flexible work environment for work-life balance - Opportunities for community involvement and volunteer events sponsored by the firm - Wellness programs with personalized content and activities - Professional development opportunities and the chance to work with experts in their fields - Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans - Generous paid time off If you are ready to join the Faegre Drinker team, apply now!
