Summary:

Law Firm seeking a Senior Family Law Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience in the field. This position is hybrid WFH-eligible, but candidates must be located in Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Texas Family Code, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor. The firm values a collaborative team culture and invests in both the firm and its employees. A signing bonus of $2,500 is offered with a 6-month retention period. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, with additional benefits such as paid holidays, PTO, health insurance, and more.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare legal documents and pleadings
- Draft discovery pleadings and work with clients to collect and review documents
- Prepare attorneys for hearings, trials, conferences, and mediations
- Monitor case dockets and maintain case files
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout their family law journey
- Manage calendars and track deadlines accurately
- Notarize documents as needed
- Provide feedback to improve firm processes
- Meet internal billing minimum requirements

Qualifications:

- Extensive knowledge of Texas Family Code and legal terminology
- 5+ years of experience in family law in Texas
- Highly organized and able to multitask efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate collaboratively
- Discreet, confidential, and sensitive
- Sense of humor

Compensation:

- $65,000 - $75,000 per year + bonus
