Summary: Law Firm seeks experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Brunswick, GA. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Personal Injury law and be familiar with federal and state court procedures. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, 401K, and paid time off. The firm is an equal opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments - Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court - Perform administrative duties such as calendar management and organizing case files - Assist with preparation of federal and state administrative filings - Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes - Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices - Trial and arbitration preparation, including managing trial exhibits - Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests - Gather relevant information from a variety of sources - Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties - Help with voir-dire, jury selection and witness preparation - Assist with case settlements - Address client case status inquiries - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in Personal Injury law - Experience with federal and state court litigation cases - Familiarity with court rules and procedures - Knowledge of legal technology and case management software - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - Excellent time-management and typing skills - Professional presentation and ability to maintain confidentiality - Associates degree or relevant certification preferred Benefits: - Dental, health, and vision insurance - Paid time off - 401K - Short term disability and basic life insurance provided by employer Schedule: - Full-time, Monday to Friday - Onsite in a professional office setting Equal Opportunity Statement: The law firm is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
