Summary:

Law Firm seeks experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Brunswick, GA. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Personal Injury law and be familiar with federal and state court procedures. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, 401K, and paid time off. The firm is an equal opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments
- Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court
- Perform administrative duties such as calendar management and organizing case files
- Assist with preparation of federal and state administrative filings
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Trial and arbitration preparation, including managing trial exhibits
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
- Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
- Help with voir-dire, jury selection and witness preparation
- Assist with case settlements
- Address client case status inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in Personal Injury law
- Experience with federal and state court litigation cases
- Familiarity with court rules and procedures
- Knowledge of legal technology and case management software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time-management and typing skills
- Professional presentation and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Associates degree or relevant certification preferred
