As a Conflicts Analyst, you will play a critical role in our risk management function by analyzing and resolving potential legal and business conflicts. You will work closely with partners and Professional Responsibility Counsel to ensure proper notification and implementation of information barriers. This is a remote position, but candidates may be required to occasionally visit the local office.

Minimum Requirements:

- High school diploma
- 4 years of experience in conflicts or new business intake within a law firm, or 3 years of paralegal experience
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking and make sound decisions while maintaining a customer service-oriented approach
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work 9:30 am – 5:00 PM PT or 11:30 – 7:00 PM ET

Preferred Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate
- Experience with intake and conflicts software

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Review, interpret, and summarize conflict report results
- Analyze and resolve potential legal and business conflicts
- Implement information barriers and ensure proper notification to affected personnel
- Draft formal email waivers and conflict waiver letters
- Maintain conflict information in the financial database
- Review new business intake forms and identify conflicts
- Conduct corporate research and communicate with all levels of personnel to ensure accurate conflict clearance
- Perform corporate research on all parties involved in new business requests
