Job Description:

- Temporary E-Discovery Project Attorney position
- Assist Pittsburgh-based Records & E-Discovery Team
- Conduct document reviews using specialized software
- Must have at least 1 year of experience with E-Discovery software
- Active license in good standing required
- Candidates must reside in Delaware, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Washington DC
- Paid hourly rate of $29
- Project duration typically 4-6 weeks, sometimes longer
- Expected to work 40 hours per week during regular business hours (between 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Participation in conference and Zoom/Teams calls required
- Must have personal computer and secure internet connection
- Position expected to start first week of June
- No outside legal work permitted during employment with Reed Smith
- Prior large-scale document review experience strongly preferred

Essential Functions:

- Efficient and accurate document review using specialized software
- Timely and accurate timekeeping
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS suite of software
- Strong work ethic and commitment to high quality legal service

Requirements:

- degree
- Active license to practice law in Delaware, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, or Washington DC
- Must pass conflict and background checks
- Must provide certificate of good standing from court where licensed
- Strong academic credentials and prior electronic document review experience preferred
- Experience with review support tools such as Relativity, Reveal, Everlaw, etc. preferred

- No supervisory responsibilities
- Must have personal computer and standard office equipment
- Manual dexterity for operating office equipment
- Able to handle stress and multitask
- Work is performed remotely
- Overtime must be approved in advance
