Arnold & Porter's Government Contracts & National Security Practice Group is seeking a mid-level associate to join their Chambers and Legal 500 Band 1 (market leading) team. This position will offer exciting opportunities to handle a broad mix of litigation, investigation, export control, cybersecurity, mergers and acquisition, and counseling work.

**Job Description**

- Handle litigation, investigation, export control, cybersecurity, mergers and acquisition, and counseling work
- Participate in bid protest practice litigations before all tribunals
- Represent clients disputing substantial claims by and against the government before the Boards of Contract Appeals and . Court of Federal Claims
- Prosecute and defend court actions between contractors
- Handle litigation and counseling involving space-related procurements, including for satellites and space travel and missions
- Participate in international, high-stakes subcontract negotiation with teaming agreement tailored to a decades-long, multi-billion dollar DOD program

**Qualifications**

- Minimum of three years of prior legal experience in the field
- Demonstrated an interest in government contacts law
- Strong research, writing, and analytic skills
- Ability to work independently and creatively
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team
- Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience as a judicial clerk for the . Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit or the Court of Federal Claims
- Academic training in government contracts law
- Excellent academic credentials and references
- Must currently be licensed, or currently be eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Washington, .
