Law Firm Seeking Experienced Litigation Paralegal to Support Multiple Attorneys

- Mid-sized women-owned education law firm with statewide practice
- Multiple office locations available for consideration
- Opportunity to support the education of students in California

Responsibilities:

- Preparation of motions, pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery-related materials
- Management of administrative and trial court information
- Cite checking and review of motions and pleadings
- Organization of large volumes of documents, both hard copy and electronic
- Utilization of software systems for document tracking and review
- Legal research and fact gathering using resources such as Westlaw
- Preparation and processing of court and administrative filings
- Monitoring of court dockets and litigation calendars
- Providing recommendations on complex procedural issues

Qualifications:

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
- Familiarity with litigation procedures
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure
- Experience maintaining high-quality work within time constraints
- Accurate and concise information tracking skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Experience with eDiscovery software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Minimum of three years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Experience in education law preferred
- Flexibility with work schedule and ability to work overtime as needed
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent required
