Associates in this position will be expected to:
Assist with the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of a wide range of securitization transactions, including collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and whole business securitizations;
Conduct due diligence and review legal documents related to securitization transactions;
Research and analyze legal issues related to securitization transactions;
Assist with the preparation and review of offering materials and disclosure documents;
Collaborate with clients and other attorneys from various disciplines at the firm to provide comprehensive legal advice to our existing clients;
Assist with the training and mentoring of junior associates within the group; and
Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry trends in securitization.

Job Description
Law Firm is actively seeking experienced Securitization Associates to join our global finance practice group in either our New York or Boston office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex securitization transactions with a diverse range of clients. We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals with a strong background in structured finance and securitization.
Responsibilities
As a Securitization Associate, you will be responsible for:
Structuring, negotiating, and documenting various securitization transactions, including CLOs and whole business securitizations
Conducting due diligence and reviewing legal documents related to securitization transactions
Researching and analyzing legal issues pertaining to securitization
Preparing and reviewing offering materials and disclosure documents
Collaborating with clients and other attorneys at the firm to provide comprehensive legal advice
Mentoring and training junior associates in the group
Staying updated on regulatory developments and industry trends in securitization
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
3-5 years of experience at a large or global law firm representing issuers, sponsors, borrowers, and lenders in structured finance and securitization transactions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to and good standing with the New York Bar
