Job Title: Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant Job Location: Irvine, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, or Los Angeles, California Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as a litigation legal administrative assistant Salary Range: $65, to $95, annually Responsibilities: • Format legal documents, including producing TOC/TOA and preparing shells for attorneys. • File legal documents with state and federal courts, with knowledge of e-filing. • Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness. • Maintain and update client files. • Prioritize and complete tasks assigned by attorneys. • Review and process vendor invoices. • Assist with conflict checks and client intake forms. • Prepare for trial by supporting paralegals and attorneys. Personal Attributes: • Adheres to firm policies and procedures. • Flexible and willing to assist in various tasks. • Positive attitude and approachable. • Able to handle high-stress situations and a demanding workload. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Professional and confident in communications with clients and vendors. • Problem solver. Skills and Abilities: • Proficient in Lexis Nexis/File & Serve Express, Pacer, ECF, and other document management systems. • Knowledge of Aderant and File Site is a plus. • Strong attendance and punctuality. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Dependable and able to work independently. • Works well in a team environment. • Basic PC skills and ability to use office equipment. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma required (college degree preferred). • 3-5 years of experience as a litigation legal administrative assistant.
