We are currently seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for our New York City office located in the Financial District of Manhattan.

Responsibilities:
- Electronically file documents with appropriate courts
- Maintain New York Bar requirements and schedule hearings and meetings
- Oversee file closing and interact with clients as needed
- Process new matter and conflict requests
- Provide document production services and perform other duties as required

Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal software preferred

Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Understanding of New York and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
