Law Firm is seeking a Mid-level Franchise Litigation Associate to join its Franchise & Distribution practice in its Philadelphia, Short Hills, Seattle, Chicago or San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Franchise and litigation experience, a strong academic background, superior research and writing skills, case management experience, and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.

Job Responsibilities:

Handle a broad range of matters for clients in a wide variety of industries
Provide advice and counsel to clients on Franchise & Distribution matters
Assist with the litigation of franchise disputes
Research and analyze legal issues
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Participate in court hearings
Prepare for and attend depositions
Negotiate settlements and agreements
Manage and review discovery
Develop case strategy
Participate in client meetings

Requirements:


Minimum 3 years of franchise litigation experience in a law firm environment
State Bar admission in the state you would be practicing or eligible for admission via waiver

Salary & Benefits:

The pay range for this position, if hired to work in California or Washington is $260,000-$365,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
