Mirick O’Connell, a highly respected law firm in Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced municipal, labor, and school law attorney to join our team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule, and you will have the chance to work in either our Westborough or Worcester office. We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable attorney with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in municipal, labor, or school law.

As a Municipal, Labor and School Law Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including municipalities, public school districts, and other public entities. You will handle a range of legal matters related to general municipal law, employment and labor relations, and education law. This includes collective bargaining, policy drafting, administrative hearings, student rights, and other education-related issues. In this role, you will also be expected to have a strong understanding of federal and state laws governing public entities.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent analytical, drafting, and verbal communication skills, as well as strong academic credentials. The ideal candidate will also possess practical problem-solving abilities and the ability to effectively interact with clients.
