Overview:
- Seeking a Litigation Administrative Assistant with 5+ years of experience for the Charlotte office of an AmLaw 100 law firm.
- This position will involve managing attorney calendars, docketing case-related deadlines, coordinating conference calls, and processing expense reports.
- Responsibilities also include transcribing, revising, and finalizing legal documents, ensuring proper filing with courts, scheduling depositions and client meetings, and communicating with clients.
- Other duties may include conflict checks, opening new client/matter engagements, and assisting with billing and other clerical tasks.

Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate should have 5+ years of recent State and Federal litigation experience and 2 years of appellate experience within a law firm.
- Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and be able to work well with employees, clients, and attorneys.
- Self-starter with proactive work habits and ability to exhibit sound judgment, reliability, accountability, and confidentiality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite products and typing speed of 65+ wpm with excellent proofreading, transcribing, and comprehension skills required.
- Familiarity with document management systems, document systems, and billing and time entry programs is essential.
