The ERISA and Executive Compensation Group at BLD Legal is currently seeking an experienced employee benefits attorney to join our team as a Mid/Senior ERISA (Benefits) Associate. This is a lateral position within our prestigious law firm, located in the heart of Boston. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and provide expert legal advice on a wide range of employee benefit plans.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice to clients on employee benefit plans, including retirement and welfare plans
- Advise clients on ongoing benefits work, as well as benefits issues that may arise during M&A and other business transactions
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and provide tailored legal solutions
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits law, with a strong background in both retirement and welfare plans
- Previous experience in a law firm setting is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with experience in accounting or consulting firms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
