This position is open for candidates with four to seven years post-JD experience (not including clerkships) and who have experience handling SEC Enforcement and other government investigations, internal investigations and other white collar and regulatory enforcement as well as related or parallel securities litigation matters. ## Job Responsibilities The Securities Lit & Enforcement Senior Associate will have the following responsibilities: - Handle SEC Enforcement and other government investigations, internal investigations and other white collar and regulatory enforcement as well as related or parallel securities litigation matters. - Represent clients in various forums, including administrative proceedings, federal and state courts, and arbitration proceedings. - Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents related to litigation and investigations. - Assist with the development of legal strategies and the implementation of those strategies. - Conduct research and prepare memoranda on various legal issues. - Participate in client meetings and other conferences. - Collaborate with other departments within the firm and keep clients informed of progress. - Supervise junior associates and paralegals assigned to the matters. ## Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree - Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based - 4-7 years post-JD experience (not including clerkships) - Experience in regulatory (., the SEC, CFTC) or criminal (., DOJ, a USAO, District Attorney, Office of the Attorney General) enforcement organization - Strong analytical skills, and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment ## Compensation WilmerHale Law Firm is committed to recruiting, retaining, developing and promoting the best legal talent.
