A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in civil litigation and/or workers’ compensation. Duties
Represent clients in civil litigation and workers' compensation cases
Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys
Analyze legal issues and provide sound legal guidance
Manage caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work
Requirements
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed and actively practicing law in the state of Minnesota
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in insurance defense is a plus
Prior litigation experience with trial preparation and court appearances
Certifications
Admission to the Minnesota State Bar (Active and in good standing)
