The Law Firm of Allen & Overy is seeking a Paralegal to join their Leveraged Finance department in New York. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of office and remote work. The successful candidate will work closely with the Leveraged Finance partners and associates, providing support and assistance on a variety of projects and tasks. The annual base salary for this position is $60,000 to $65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research on domestic and international topics
- Summarize legal research findings in brief summaries
- Assist with due diligence investigations
- Prepare closing sets for clients and other parties
- Interact with service providers for filings and document orders
- Draft memos and presentations for clients
- Work on pro bono matters as available

Requirements:

- with strong academic background
- Excellent organizational, communication, research, time management, and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF
- Familiarity with iManage or similar tools a plus

Salary Information:

- Annual base salary range of $60,000 to $65,000
- Actual salary offered will be based on qualifications and experience

Experience:

- Demonstrated interest in Leveraged Finance or banking preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in a paralegal role a plus
