Job Description

Greenberg Traurig (GT) is seeking a mid-level Associate with three to five years of experience to join our Public Finance Practice in our Orlando office. This position offers the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industries across the country and handle a wide range of municipal finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal finance, tax and securities law, and have worked with governments, underwriters, and banks on public finance transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with clients, including governments, underwriters, and banks, to provide legal advice and assistance on public finance transactions
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to municipal finance transactions
- Collaborate with team members and senior attorneys to develop strategies and solutions for clients
- Handle a high volume of transactions and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide timely updates on case progress
- Attend meetings and negotiations with clients and other parties involved in public finance transactions

Qualifications:

- Three to five years of experience in municipal finance, tax and securities law, or equivalent experience
- Excellent academic credentials, including a law degree from an accredited law school
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and assume significant responsibility
- Experience working with governments, underwriters, and banks on public finance transactions is preferred
- Admission to the Florida Bar is required
