About the Role:

- As a Counsel in the Employment Division, you will join a team of attorneys responsible for handling employment-related legal issues for the company and its subsidiaries.
- This includes managing claims, litigation, and outside counsel relationships; providing advice and training to business line management and Human Resources; and developing policies, agreements, and contracts.

Responsibilities:

- Represent the company in complex litigation, negotiations, and settlement discussions related to employment issues.
- Provide guidance to internal clients on legal matters and review and analyze assignments or challenges.
- Manage complex claims and litigation, participate in initiatives, and support the work of more experienced counsel.
- Present recommendations for complex situations and provide leadership and direction for certain functions worldwide.
- Advise on policy, legal, and regulatory changes and provide guidance to less experienced counsel.
- Develop strategic direction for certain claims functions and collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders.
- Partner with business leaders and other corporate departments to implement risk management programs.

Required Qualifications:

- 2+ years of law experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Active state bar membership or equivalent in a country outside the United States.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience with management-side labor law, including organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, and labor-relations lawsuits.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with employment law matters in litigation and the administrative agency process.
- Ability to analyze employment law and regulatory issues and provide effective advice to clients.
- In-house legal experience and experience providing counsel and guidance on complex employment law issues.
- Knowledge of FINRA matters and experience handling arbitration of employment claims.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work while handling significant matters.
- Effective in building partnerships and working in a team.

Job Expectations:

- Position will require onsite presence from any of the required locations listed above.
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
- Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary Information:

- Pay Range: $96, - $206,
