The Position:

- Seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate required
- Must have 5+ years of defense litigation experience
- Preferably with insurance defense and timekeeping experience
- Responsibilities include preparing records, assembling exhibits, summarizing transcripts, and trial preparation
- Must have strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must
- Must be organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player and ability to work with personnel in other offices

Experience Information:

- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate required
- 5+ years of defense litigation experience
- Preferably with insurance defense and timekeeping experience

Responsibilities:

- Prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, and trial preparation
- Contact outside sources to retrieve information and review and analyze same
- Search and retrieve information from court-related databases and online sources
- Organize materials for expert witness review
- Review, analyze, and organize document productions from opposing parties and co-defendants
- Summarize transcripts and organize key documents
- Manage documents and maintain organized case files

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ years defense litigation experience
- Insurance defense with timekeeping experience is preferable
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary software systems and databases
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of demands
- Team player and ability to work with personnel in other offices
- Ability to integrate quickly into a fast-paced environment
