A law firm in Encino, CA, specializing in employee benefits law, is seeking an experienced ERISA Associate Attorney to assist in representing Taft-Hartley Multiemployer Trusts. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of ERISA experience, focusing on advising health welfare and pension plans in all aspects of plan administration and ERISA compliance. Recent graduates interested in employee benefits law will also be considered.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and counsel on ERISA matters, focusing on health and welfare and pension plans.
• Assist in plan drafting, review, and amendment.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex ERISA issues.
• Represent clients in ERISA litigation and administrative proceedings.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and fiduciary responsibilities under ERISA.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar in good standing.
• 1-5 years of experience in ERISA law, preferably focusing on health and welfare and pension plans.
• Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and their application.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience representing Taft-Hartley Multiemployer Trusts.
• Demonstrated interest in employee benefits law, evidenced by coursework in labor law and ERISA/employee benefits during law school.
• Experience in ERISA litigation or administrative proceedings.
