Law Firm Seeking Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant in Buffalo or Rochester

Responsibilities:
- Type legal documents and correspondence in accordance with practice group requirements
- Transcribe dictation tapes and proofread documents for formatting, spelling, and grammar
- Manage attorney schedules and maintain files
- Prepare materials for distribution via mail, fax, courier, etc.
- Interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and other staff

Requirements:
- 1-5 years of Workers' Compensation experience preferred, but entry-level candidates may be considered
- Familiarity with electronic filing, calendaring, and docketing deadlines
- Billing experience and exceptional organization skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
