This role will provide essential support to an assigned group of attorneys and will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Firm-wide network of skilled administrative professionals. We are looking for candidates who can adapt quickly to new software and programs, meet deadlines consistently, and work proactively to problem solve. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, enthusiastic, and eager to be a part of a dynamic team that values continuous learning and professional development. Key Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support such as entering attorney time, processing expense reports, and scheduling conference calls - Conduct internet research as directed by attorneys - Proactively interact with departments within the Firm to facilitate legal support and client needs - Use word processing and document management software to prepare and revise a variety of legal documents - Maintain paper and electronic files in compliance with Firm policies - Foster professional and supportive relationships with colleagues and clients - Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced legal environment - Work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Qualifications: - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong customer service orientation - Proactive work ethic and attention to detail - Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to new software and programs - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat DC, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred - Ability to work core business hours with occasional flexibility for overtime Kirkland & Ellis is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
