Law Firm is seeking a Patent Prosecution Associate with 3-8 years of experience to join its Electrical & Computer Technologies and Biotechnology practice groups. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge innovations with a leading law firm.

Responsibilities:

- Interface with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process
- Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications in the United States and abroad
- Conduct freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses
- Assist in other responsibilities or projects, as requested, or needed

Qualifications:

- A degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field of study
- Demonstrated understanding of machine learning, molecular biology, and sequencing technology
- Familiarity with gene editing, immunology, microscopy, and systems biology is a plus
- Graduated with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to the USPTO
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

Salary & Benefits

Law Firm is offering a competitive salary range of $240,000 - $370,000 annually for this position. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for an annual hours-based bonus.
