Sr. Counsel – International Labor & Employment

Responsibilities:
- Support and drive Danaher’s L&E Legal strategy
- Advise and counsel internal clients on compliance with labor and employment laws
- Collaborate with Global HR Labor & Employee Relations Center of Excellence
- Provide L&E legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions
- Manage outside counsel for adversarial proceedings in international jurisdictions
- Oversee and conduct complex employment-related investigations
- Provide efficient and practical L&E legal advice to HR and other functional partners
- Manage vendor program for immigration legal services and cross-border employment arrangements
- Drive process and program improvements through creation of best practices and toolkits
- Monitor and stay current on legal developments in key countries and regions
- Develop and conduct training and workshops to support implementation of L&E Legal solutions

- Superior analytical skills and ability to problem solve
- Able to simplify legal technicalities into practical recommendations
- Tenacious and resilient with a track record of successfully implementing legal solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Project management and change management experience
- Ability to set and meet priorities, take on new challenges, and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Collaboration and ability to influence others without direct authority
- Fluent in other languages a plus
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Powerpoint and Excel

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and JD degrees
- 15+ years of labor & employment law practice
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state in the United States
- Proficiency or fluency in other languages a plus
- Tech-savvy and excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
