DWK Law Firm, with offices in Sacramento, East Bay, and San Francisco, is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney to join our dynamic Labor, Employment and Personnel Practice Group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters and make a significant difference in the lives of students and educators across the state of California. Minimum Experience and Qualifications: • At least three years of experience in labor, employment, and personnel law • Experience with labor negotiations, including serving on a negotiations team and effectively negotiating collective bargaining agreements and MOUs • Knowledge of the Educational Employment Relations Act or similar labor relations statute is preferred • Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills • Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters • Admission to the California State Bar Responsibilities: • Representing school and community college districts in labor, employment, and personnel matters • Developing and drafting bargaining proposals, side letters, and MOUs • Developing negotiation plans and strategies • Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on labor and employment issues • Participating in negotiations and advocating for clients' best interests • Conducting legal research and writing legal briefs and other documents COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: At DWK Law Firm, we take the health and safety of our employees and clients seriously.
