Law Firm Seeking Experienced Patent Agent/Technical Advisor in Phoenix, AZ

Are you a Patent Agent or Technical Advisor with a strong background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science? Lewis Roca is currently seeking a highly qualified candidate with three or more years of experience to join our Intellectual Property practice in Phoenix, AZ. If you have a passion for patent law and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and prosecute patent applications with the USPTO and foreign patent offices
- Provide technological guidance to attorneys and assist with documenting inventions
- Counsel clients on comprehensive IP strategy, prior art analysis, and portfolio management
- Experience with foreign patent applications is a plus

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
- Registration to practice before the USPTO is a plus
- Industry experience preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented, organized, and team-oriented
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, delegate, and prioritize under strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and specialized software
