Job Title: Immigration Of Counsel Salary Information: - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications - Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options Experience Information: - Minimum of 5 years of business immigration experience - Experience working with a high volume of case types - Experience reviewing, drafting, and overseeing cases with a team of paralegals Job Description: - Seeking an Immigration Of Counsel with business immigration experience - Joining the growing Immigration and Global Mobility Services practice group at law firm Barnes & Thornburg - Working under the direct supervision of the Immigration Partners - Providing legal services to a wide range of employers in various industries, including corporate, technology, universities, financial, and healthcare systems - Handling all aspects of business immigration, including reviewing, drafting, and overseeing cases with a team of paralegals - Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all cases - Keeping up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies Responsibilities: - Providing legal counsel and representation to clients in business immigration matters - Managing a high volume of case types and prioritizing tasks effectively - Reviewing and analyzing documents, including petitions, visa applications, and other immigration-related materials - Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including letters, memos, and briefs - Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other parties involved in the immigration process - Supervising and training a team of paralegals to ensure efficient and accurate work - Maintaining accurate and organized case files and records - Staying up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies Qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - Admitted to practice law in the United States - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business immigration law - Strong knowledge of immigration laws, policies, and procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Attention to detail and accuracy in all work - Ability to handle a high volume of cases and prioritize tasks effectively Barnes & Thornburg LLP is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
