As one of the leading law firms in the country, O’Melveny & Myers LLP is seeking a highly skilled mid-level M&A associate to join our Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group in Dallas. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A transactions, with a specific focus on public and private company deals. With a diverse client base including major corporations, private equity firms, and portfolio companies, this role offers the opportunity for significant client interaction and individual responsibility.

Responsibilities:
• Handle both public and private company M&A transactions, with a focus on public company deals
• Draft and review sophisticated corporate documentation
• Familiarity with market terms and regulations for public company M&A transactions
• Work effectively in a team environment while also taking on significant individual responsibilities

Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of experience in M&A, specifically in public and private company transactions
• Strong general corporate transactional background
• Excellent drafting and reviewing skills
• Knowledge of SEC and stock exchange rules and regulations
• Superior academic credentials
• Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
