This position requires a highly skilled individual with a minimum of 5 years of legal or related experience, and preferably a Paralegal Certification or an AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field. Responsibilities of this position include preparing, analyzing, and evaluating legal documents, conducting legal research and analysis, monitoring state and federal legislation, and representing the company at legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will also have experience with multi-state surveys of laws and regulations, as well as familiarity with insurance and healthcare-related laws and regulations, particularly the Affordable Care Act (ACA). H2: Minimum Requirements and Preferred Skills Minimum requirements for this position include a Paralegal Certification or an AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of legal or related experience. Preferred skills and experiences include experience with multi-state surveys of laws and regulations, familiarity with state and federal insurance and healthcare-related laws and regulations, and experience working with provider contracts. H2: Hybrid Workforce Strategy and COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, with the expectation that associates will work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
