H3: Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to executive team and management on all labor and employment matters.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with HR, operations, and finance teams to implement policies and procedures.
- Counsel HR team on disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Design and deliver internal training programs on employment law.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect company's interests.
- Handle and resolve legal disputes or litigation.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Demonstrate solid commercial judgment.

H3: Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Member of the Illinois bar; familiarity with New York practices is a plus.
- Deep expertise in EEO laws, wage and hour laws, FMLA, pay transparency laws, employee data privacy laws, state and local leave laws, and other federal, state, and local laws affecting employer obligations to employees.
