Law Firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Liability Special Counsel to join their expanding Representations and Warranties Insurance Practice in their Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of six years of experience in handling corporate legal matters including mergers & acquisitions, complex corporate structuring, finance and accounting, corporate governance matters, and other business transactions.

The successful candidate should have the ability to analyze corporate transaction documentation and due diligence information to identify and evaluate information relevant to potential breaches of representations and warranties. Specific knowledge of transactional legal exposures (representation and warranty breaches, tax issues, price adjustment mechanisms, litigation, and computation and measure of damages) is a plus.

Applicants should have at least two years of law firm experience and have excellent academic credentials and references. This is a non-partnership track position with an 1,800 billable hour requirement. There is potential for a remote opportunity.
