We are seeking a skilled Senior Paralegal to join our Corporate Legal team at Prisma Health, a leading healthcare provider in South Carolina. The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for performing various legal tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the department. This is a full-time position located in Greenville, South Carolina. Job Title: Senior Paralegal, Corporate Location: Greenville, South Carolina Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 7+ years in healthcare or legal entity Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience Job Summary: As a Senior Paralegal at Prisma Health, you will work under general supervision to perform delegated substantive work for our Corporate Legal department. Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality legal documents, assisting with litigation matters, and providing support for corporate transactions. You will also work closely with attorneys to assist with special projects and research tasks, as well as maintain and update template forms. Your attention to detail and knowledge of legal and healthcare concepts will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Produce high-quality corporate and transactional legal documents, including contracts, resolutions, and reports - Assist with litigation matters by managing subpoenas and e-holds in collaboration with key stakeholders - Support attorneys in corporate transactions, including due diligence, closing checklists, and filings - Conduct legal research and assist with special projects as requested - Assist with Board and governance matters, including preparing meeting materials and minutes - Maintain and update template forms and assist attorneys in utilizing and adapting forms - Provide administrative support, such as scheduling and drafting correspondence - Serve as the department content leader for the corporate policy database Qualifications: - Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience - 7+ years of experience in healthcare or legal entity - Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases - Familiarity with legal and healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures - Strong multitasking and time management skills - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Location: Prisma Health Corporate Office, Greenville, South Carolina Department: Legal Affairs, Corporate At Prisma Health, we are dedicated to transforming healthcare and improving the lives of the communities we serve.
