Position Summary

Essential Functions

- Perform advanced analysis to identify legal and procedural issues relating to immigrant status
- Initial review and analysis of prospective PERM cases, flagging issues for attorney review
- Assist in drafting minimum requirements and job descriptions for PERM roles
- Review and file Prevailing Wage Requests for PERM
- Conduct labor market testing for PERM, including drafting advertisements and posting job orders
- Draft and review Form ETA 9089 for PERM filings
- Act as primary point of contact for corporate clients concerning PERM cases
- Draft and review employment verification letters for I-140 filings
- Draft forms and assemble documents for PERM-based I-140 filings
- Oversee approximately 60 PERM cases independently, tracking deadlines and prioritizing cases
- Review work product of junior staff before it is sent for attorney review
- Assist junior staff with determining deadlines and prioritizing cases

Requirements

- Degree from accredited college or university and/or paralegal certification
- Ability to work in office 5 days per week for the first 6 months, with opportunity for hybrid schedule thereafter based on performance
- Ability to multi-task and work on high volume cases
- Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary
- Must work well with a team and independently
- Basic proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Zoom/VisaTrax, and DMS within a reasonable training period
