The Senior Director within FINRA’s Cyber and Analytics Unit (CAU) leads the Cyber-Enabled Fraud (CEF) team responsible for overseeing cyber-enabled fraud investigations involving member firms, as well as the Analytics Threat Targeting team, which uses data analytics to support complex investigations and examinations. This senior level position requires experience in cyber, fraud, and analytics, and includes supervising a team, developing strategies, and providing guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leads and manages a team of cyber, fraud, and analytics specialists, fostering a team-oriented culture and providing guidance and feedback.
- Identifies and develops regulatory strategies for new and emerging risks and threats, and supervises investigations and consultations related to these risks.
- Develops and implements a data analytics strategy to identify fraud and other suspicious conduct involving FINRA member firms and/or associated persons.
- Provides subject matter expertise to external parties on high-level regulatory issues.
- Ensures timely training, support, and intelligence is delivered to other FINRA departments.
- Collaborates with the Member Application Program (MAP) team to analyze the cyber or fraud-related risks of new firms.
- Regularly collaborates with other regulators and law enforcement agencies.
- Reviews and approves investigation-related reports and letters.
- Represents FINRA at relevant industry events.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as Accounting, Finance, Cybersecurity, or Data Analytics.
- Significant experience in securities, compliance, or financial regulation.
- Expert knowledge of cyber and analytics-related issues.
- Substantive knowledge of regulatory compliance issues.
- Experience with data analytics methods and tools.
