The ideal candidate should possess exceptional research and writing skills, a focus on litigation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a legal team. An active Bar license in the state is mandatory, with a preference for candidates practicing in the Washington, . metropolitan area and admitted to practice in Virginia or Maryland.

Job Duties:

• Handle federal government contracts matters, including contract compliance counseling and bid protests.
• Manage claims litigation and investigations related to the False Claims Act.
• Conduct extensive research and provide sound legal advice in government contract cases.
• Collaborate effectively within a legal team to strategize and execute case plans.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in federal government contracts matters.
• Proficiency in federal government contract matters and associated litigation.
• Strong interest and experience in litigation.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active Bar license in the state.
