The Law Firm of Weaver Austin Villeneuve & Sampson LLP (WAVS IP) is currently seeking experienced candidates for a Patent Agent position in our mechanical group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of attorneys, agents, and staff who represent a diverse range of clients in various technical areas. As a Patent Agent at WAVS IP, you will have the opportunity to work with start-ups, large companies, and universities in the fields of wearable fitness devices, electrical connectors, smart window systems, satellite deployment mechanisms, rocket systems, semiconductor processing equipment, wafer handling robots, portable and laboratory assay devices, medical devices, casino gaming machines, fashion accessories, display technologies, MEMS devices, and electrolyzers. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about patent prosecution and have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Experience: 3-5 years of patent attorney or agent experience

Qualifications:

- Eligible to be admitted to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
