Job Overview

Duties

• Draft and negotiate intricate loan agreements for commercial banking transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including real estate and asset-based lending assessments.
• Advise clients on construction lending and land development financing.
• Analyze legal risks and provide strategic counsel on financial transactions.
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, and stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting banking and financial transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of substantive experience in commercial banking transactions.
• Strong expertise in loan documentation, financial structuring, and risk assessment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Minnesota State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota.
