The Matian Firm, a leading law firm in Las Vegas, is seeking a Paralegal with experience in Immigration Law to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and grow your career. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in our Immigration practice, assisting in the management of client relationships and handling all aspects of case preparation and filing. We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge of immigration laws, excellent case management skills, and a client-service attitude.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency
- Communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issues
- Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems
- Follow internal intake procedures after a client retains our firm
- Update case management system with client information, case tracking information, and client communications
- Maintain hard copy files and documents to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients
- Keep clients informed on the progress of their cases
- Assist attorneys and other team members with managing caseload
- Communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisors

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience
- Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal field
- Spanish fluency is required for this role
- Familiarity with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications
- Experience with Case Management Software
