As an IP Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys and staff with managing and prosecuting Intellectual Property matters for our clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Support clients, attorneys, and staff by performing administrative tasks and handling detail-oriented and critical tasks - Maintain physical and electronic files on behalf of clients - Prepare and file patent applications with the USPTO and WIPO - Prepare and file formalities and responses with the USPTO and WIPO - Track deadlines and coordinate with the Firm's internal docketing department - Draft correspondence to clients and on behalf of clients - Manage Intellectual Property projects on behalf of clients - Assist attorneys in filing, prosecuting, and post-grant maintenance of patents and trademarks - Meet an annual billable requirement of 1,400 hours Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities Required: - Strong analytic, writing, and communication skills - Attention to detail with a high level of focus - Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team - Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to handle stressful situations and a high-volume workload - Flexible and able to problem-solve - Ability to work under pressure - Willing and able to work full-time, unless a specific alternative hour agreement has been made - Maintain client confidentiality and exercise good judgment Working Conditions: This position is based in our Mountain View, CA office and will require working in a normal law office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures.
