Land Use Planner Responsibilities:
- Work closely with lawyers, co-counsel, and clients on various client matters
- Independently and collaboratively manage large multi-disciplinary project teams
- Guide teams through the zoning entitlement process
- Prepare applications and supporting documentation for land use matters
- Draft findings, project descriptions, and statements of justification
- Research code sections and review land use and comprehensive plans
- Interact with clients, co-consultants, and jurisdictional staff
- Coordinate with technical consultants and assist with lobbying ordinance registration and reporting
- Prepare economic disclosure statements and affidavits
- Assist with preparation, recording, and filing of real estate documents
- Draft and revise agreements, leases, deeds, easements, and rights of way
- Manage and assist with land development and subdivision approval process

Requirements:
- College degree and 3 years of experience in land use planning or related field
- Experience in requesting public records, preparing project application packages, and obtaining permits
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced degree or certification in Planning or Paralegal studies
- Experience in a law firm setting
