Polsinelli, a national law firm, is currently looking for a mid-level associate to join their Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group. This position is available in their Chicago, Kansas City, Denver, or Dallas offices. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drafting, designing, implementing, and administering tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare benefit plans
- Handling executive compensation and benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions
- Addressing taxation issues related to executive compensation arrangements, including Sections 409A and 280G of the Internal Revenue Code
- Designing and drafting employment and other executive compensation arrangements

Requirements:

- JD degree from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation matters
- High level of academic achievement
- Law firm experience
- Strong writing, drafting, and communication skills
- Ambitious, driven, and team-oriented mindset
