Workers Compensation Case Manager - Farah & Farah - US-GA-Savannah Job ID: 2024-1871 Category: Legal Assistant/Paralegal Position Type: Regular Full-Time Overview: Farah & Farah, a premier personal injury law firm in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida, is seeking experienced Case Managers or Claims Adjusters to join our team. Our firm is built upon the foundations of honesty, hard-work, and experience, and we have recovered millions for our clients. As part of the Farah family, our employees are our biggest asset. The Case Manager will be responsible for managing a heavy case load, handling all aspects of the case from inception to preparing the file for demands. This position is in a professional office setting, with the option to work remotely. Responsibilities: - Open new files and make initial contact with clients, maintaining regular communication throughout the case. - Fully investigate each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents. Enter information into ATO database. - Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, and maintain contact with insurance company. - Manage client's medical care, scheduling appointments and explaining procedures. - Continuously monitor case status and review medical records. - Organize and maintain case files, preparing them for submission to demand writers. Qualifications: - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. - Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills. - Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, field associates, and vendors. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Capacity to maintain confidential information. - Ability to work on the phones for extended periods of time. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Consistent record of attendance, reliability, and integrity. - Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology a plus. - 3+ years of Case Management experience. - 3+ years of Workers Compensation experience. - Spanish speaking a plus. - High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
